I'm asking because I have a 46" 1080p Samsung LCD, and currently watch standard-definition DVDs on it using an Xbox. They look very good; so good, in fact, that I wonder if either high-def format is worth spending $400-$600 for another player and $30 per disc with the new format. In your opinion, is either format that much better than standard-definition DVD?

How do you connect a high definition antenna? I'm thinking about buying a H.D antenna, but i was wondering how this ones connect to a regular plasma or lcd high def tv.
