Is an average of 8 minutes between tv commercials acceptable? For many months have watched popular TV shows ruined by constant advertisements. They appeared to be more frequent on all channels ,when the programme was highly rated. To be positive I have sat watch in hand timing how frequent the advertisements appear,the average is every 8 minutes and at times less. From an hour length programme almost half is taken up with commercials.
