Blu-ray Disc and high definition television?

-What is Blu-ray Disc? What is so special about it? -What is high definition television? What does it mean on channel 2 news when it says "now in high definition?"

1. High definition is a new form of tv that has amazing video quality but can be watched on a regular tv. But looks 10x greater on an high definition TV. Blu-ray is a newer form of dvd that reads from a blue laser rather than the traditional red laser and makes picture quality look amazing. Works best with a High Definition TV. And is not just for the Ps3.
2. -A Blu-ray disc is ONLY for the playstation three. -HD Is the same channel but shows you way better view of things.[ex:More Close up more clearer .]And on Channel 2 it means thatThey just came out with a HD channel.Hope this helped :]
