How can I tell if my computer monitor is high definition?
I want to know if my monitor is high definition. Besides looking at the box it came in or anything like that (because it did not mention HD), what can I watch or download (a trailer, video clip, etc.) to see if my monitor is HD?

- It should be listed in specs that way. In the back of your User's Guide.
- Don't know of any clips, but I bet if the box or manuals don't mention HD u don't have it. Also, u could go to co's website or type the name in a search engine and see how all the retailers r describing it. If it's HD the retailers are going to let you know for price, quality, etc. reasons. Sorry no clips, hope this helped anyway.
- The term High-Definition or HD is actually used for broadcasting. PCs have been "HD" for years! All HD is, is the picture is a certain size. If your monitor can display 1024x768 or above you are in HD! Many HDTVs have a screen made of dots arranged in 1024x480 - this is (sort of) the same as the pixels on your monitor. A modern PC however can often run much higher resolutions, almost double that of TV can. Try www.sky.com/hd for some HD clips
