1. Advantages: Coolness, sense of satisfaction, and oooooh look at all those pretty colours! Disadvantages: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
2. Advantages: Quality of picture; High Resolution; Many new broadcasts are on available in HD; and within a few years all broadcasts will be in HD. Disadvantages: As said below, "$$$"
