- 1080p is the best so far
- We have the same model samsung in the store but in 40" and its defiantly a beauty. Things to look for: 1080p (best), contrast ratio. Right now the 10,000:1 for that size is pretty good but nothing special. If you don't know what that is, the higher the contrast ratio the sharper blacks and whites you get. The lower it is you'll see a gray and in some extreme cases blue when its suppose to be black or white. With samsung you really don't need to worry about ports because they always have plenty. All in all a good tv but for 46" and at $2,199 I wouldn't consider it. Go to sears and you can get a 40 inch for $200 less, 25,000:1 contrast ratio, 120 gHz processor (twice as fast as that one) and 1080p...or a 46" samsung with the same specs but at around $2,600. (the series im refering to is the 71 series.) ^^^That series has an incredible quality and probably the best you'll ever see. Mark my word, I see it everyday and sell at least one everytime I work. People don't stop and stare at that series for no reason.
- I've got this in the 32 in. with a 6000 to 1 contrast 1080, and i love it. You won't go wrong with this model. But if you don't need that big of a screen you'll save alot of money if you go a little bit smaller.
