Sony DCR-SR32, Camcorder?
How long does the built in hard drive on the Sony DCR-SR32(standard definition) camcorder last at its highest resoloution? Still picture res' is 640x480 pixels, cam' has 30.0 GB of hardrive space. Also how long does the battery last when on constantly for a long time?(Preferably someone who has this popular camcorder) Also give me an overall opinion on it. As I'd rather not spend over £300. Thank you Batteries for camcorders are relatively cheap, but it's a nuisance that I'll likely have to buy batteries. If the memory is good I will likely purchase.( More answers please )

- I have two Sony camcorders and found that the batteries supplied do not last that long. I upgraded the batteries and now do not have to worry if I am out filming for the day. As to the hard disc I can't help as mine are tape, they last for an hour at top resolution or one and a half hours at the low one. Overall I have been pleased with the camcorders and have had no problems in three years and they have been used a lot.
- For the batteries, expensive battery lasts longer. Recharge immediately after use before storing. 1G of hard drive can record about 4.5 minutes if recorded in AVI files. So for 30G is about 2 hours of storage. Depending on your setting of resolution.
