what is better?

the sony high definition DVD camcorder or the sony high definition 30GB camcorder? and why how many hours of its highest quality video can fit on the whole 30GB? can you download video onto a computer via USB cable instead of putting the disk in the computers drive? what formats can you record in on both camcorders? are they good camcorders?

1. The Sony 30GB hard drive camcorder will be better. Advantages of Sony 30GB hard drive camcorder over DVD camcorder. The storage space is more. In DVD camcorder you have to change the disc after every 30 mins of recording, while the DVD camcorder can record upto at least 10 hrs recording continuously. The quality of the video will be almost similar in both the camcorders. yes you can transfer the video to your computer using the USB cable.( some DVD camcorders don't have USB port). The recording format will be MPEG-2 Both are good camcorders.
