Is this camcorder good?

Do you think this Sony DCR-SR45 is good? Here's a picture of it. http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/images/products/8668/8668998_ra.jpg I want this for the hard drive so I can upload the videos into my PC. I usually make youtube videos and record some family events. or do you think i should get an Aiptek HD camera since its high definition. but I had an Aiptek before and it didn't record well in the light when it was dark out.

1. You get for what you pay... I would myself go for hd (even if its not real hd) but i would choose a trusted brand like samsung or sony (arrgh $$$).
