How come our TV is going fuzzy and we are losing internet too?

We have cable connected to both our tv and internet. The tv will go fuzzy and the send light blinks on our modem and we don't have a connection. Sometimes it will go back on if you wiggle the wire, but other times it won't. Sometimes it'll just be fine for periods and then others it will go fuzzy and no connection, what's the deal?

1. Call the cable company and have them replace the wire. DO NOT pay for it. It's their installation and their problem. Coaxial cable is notorious for shorts and/or breaks.
2. That wire you WIGGLE must have a BAD connection on the end or you have a broken wire.... I'd show it to the CABLE Guy and let him restore your signal, since that's his job.....
