Can you tell the difference between hd and sd tv?

I have an old tv. Mitsubishi big screen but its sd and its like a fat box in the back. If i buy a 52" SOny Bravia Plasma HD Tv will i be able to tell the difference when wathincg or playing something in blu-ray/HD then on my big sd tv?

  1. HD- is the finest qualith of t.v. Hd is used in movies and the sound is cyristal clear. STD is standard it not as good. you will see once you buy the Bravia and you will be amazed
  2. You will be able to tell a huge difference. CRT TV's like your Mitsubisi only displays a signal in 480i. This is called interlaced (every other line). A Sony Bravia will display resolution of 1080p (progresive, every line). HD DVD's or Blu-ray will look stunning. HD television will look amazing too. The difference will be so huge you will be blown away. Make sure you are using a HDMI cable when hooking up your HD DVD player or PS3.
