How do I make my Xbox 360 high definition?

I just purchased a Vizo 37" full hd hdtv 1080p, I am wondering what cable I need to play in high definition. i have an hdmi cable that came with tv but there is nowhere to plug it in my 360...

1. you need an HDMI cable
2. did you adjust your settings on the xbox?

The standard cables that come with the xbox 360 have a switch on the cables that says tv or hdtv....select hdtv and plug it into the correct inputs....if you have an older xbox 360 that came with composite cables..you have to buy some Component cables...just search your local walmart or google for it.
4. alright you grab that hdmi cable and you plug it into your tv, then you plug it into your xbox. the hdmi port is located beneath the av cable connector port on your xbox 360.
