Why does my Nba 2k9 for xbox 360 loose sound when i play on high definition?

I have nba 2k9 for xbox 360 and when i play it on high definition it slows up and sometimes it looses complete sound why does it do that i hate it?

1. I play on High Def also, It could be your speaker configuration maybe it is putting out sound waves that your speaker cannot handle. Or it may be a glitch in your Xbox console. Try to take it back and exchange it for a new nba 2k9, it could be the game itself.
