- Requires an HDMI cable from your PS3 to the TV. Most HD TV's have at least one HDMI connector... mine has 2. My Denon 3808 receiver has 4 inputs.
- connect it like normal. Just connect the colored cables and the power cables and any cables that are HD.
- with a PS3 to Component AV cable. like this: http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?Product_ID=64186 or PS3 HD Premium Component cable: http://www.ebgames.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=62015
- it should have the standard 3 plug thingy video, left and right, yellow white and red jacks
- Buy an HDMI cable and connect it from the HDMI imput in the back of your tv (your tv DOES have one, right?) to the HDMI imput in the back of the PlayStation. Or you can connect the red, white and yellow cables (RCA cables) to the red, white and yellow imputs in the back of your tv. HDMI gives a better picture, though. If you do this and you can't see anything when you turn on the tv, make sure that you are on the correct "imput". To cycle the different imputs keep pressing the tv/video button on the tv's remote until you see the Playstation 3 images. Good luck
- S-video cable or HDCP-compliant HDMI
- Buy a HDMI cable from dixons
- Only use HDMI or Component. S-Video (1 round plug with pins) and Composite (yellow + red & white for audio) are crappy low-def connections.
- If your TV has HDMI that's what you want.
