How can my parents find my online history?

I have cleared my history, deleted my files, and deleted my cookies? Is there still a way for them to find my online history? I am a good kid and I do not do anything bad on the internet. I just have a yahoo email, a Television Without Pity account and previously a MuggleNet Interactive account which I deleted because of guilt. I hate having to lie to my parents. The problem is I have to. My parents say that if I want an email address, they have to have my password and read all my emails. I have very interesting friends right now and they are really going through some hard times. They do questionable thing, but they are my friends, they have my back, they love me, I love them, and I really want to help. And I am really helping them. I have seen them grow. However, if my parent knew who they were and what they have done, it would be the end. I would not be aloud to talk to them. So I have to hide my history. I have cleared my history, deleted my cookies, and deleted my web files. Is there still a way for them to find my online history?

  1. Your online history will not show the emails that they have sent. It only shows what sites you visit. If you delete your emails that have information that you don't want them to read, make sure you take it out of the trash as well. Now saying all that, you have to realize that your parents are trying to protect you. As parents it is our jobs to guild you in the right direction and try to keep you from getting mixed with the wrong crowd. I understand the importance and value of friendship, but keep in mind right and wrong, and follow the higher road. It will make life so much easier in the long run.... good luck.
  2. Well my computer teacher told us that is we delete anything on the computer(school computer) she will know because she can go to a special tool called online history. I don't think you have it but look for it in your computer. If your parents have your email and password isn't that invading your privacy? They should not be doing that because that just gives you a bad example. Make sure they don't find out about any wesites you use you should be clear if you don't have online history.... but if you do make sure they don't find out about it. Hope this helps!
