Why did TV Guide Magazine stop listing the CW and MTV?

Has any TV Guide reader noticed this? For the past three issues, in the grid listings toward the back of the magazine, TV Guide has stopped listing the CW and MTV. This seems shocking to me, considering that the CW is an actual network, and MTV is one of the top ten basic cable channels for the 18-35 market. I cannot find any explanation from TV Guide or their website, and it's very frustrating. I know I can go online to get the listings, but the magazine should really still carry them.

Public Comments

  1. I noticed this last week and emailed TVguide but have yet to receive an answer. I also tried to post a comment on their website forum which seems to have disappeared too...(?) TVguide sucks and is no longer consumer oriented.
  2. They stopped doing it because those channels are talked about a lot in the articles, so you basicly know what's on by reading those.
