How and where can I submit my music for tv commercials and other tv media?

how and where can I submit my music for tv commercials and other tv media? I've been told by people that I should, but have no idea what sites/companies do this?

1. Either A. build popularity and get your music widely noticed or B. find one of those "play my jingle" contests. Other than option B, I don't think there is a way to simply submit your music. You need to make yourself noticed and have someone from that company choose you or have someone professional that notices you notify that company about you.
