How do I stop the Winodws Media Center TV guide downloading?

I had a USB tv tuner adapter on my computer a while back, but don't have it anymore. However, Windows Media Center still seems to think it's there, and downloads the guide daily, along with giving me the option for "live tv", etc (even though it does nothing). Is there a way to roll-back media center to the time before I installed my TV tuner, without doing a full system restore? Thanks

1. open media center and go to Tasks then Settings, General and then Automatic Download Options. click manual download and the save and that while turn off the guide download. I just did it 2 days ago on my computers it was bothering the hell out of me
