Is there any way to have a channel (tv shows and all) not show up on the comcast tv guide?

Like, when you hit the up or down arrow on the Comcast remote for the tv box, is there any way to have a channel (with its tv shows)not show up? I've been getting so tired of History channel and its stupid shows lately, and I don't wanna see it. Is there any way that I can just like "remove" the channel?

1. you can set favorites then you only have to scan the channels you watch but it does take time
