How does Watching Television Negatively Impact being in a Classroom?

I have to write a paper on how watching television impacts children. I need to write how it negatively impacts it in the classroom. Anyone have any ideas???

1. You could talk about the over exposure or violence and sex and how it influences children to think a certain way about other people. Some shows also give off racial stereotypes.
2. You could talk about how television is constant visual stimulation, and the general lack of visual stimulation in the classroom can cause them to lose concentration.
