Anyone else tired of the portrayal of men in sitcoms and TV commercials?
Just about every sitcom or TV commercial portrays a man as not even having enough intelligence to wipe his own behind without his wife telling him how to. I understand the entertainment value aspect of things but still annoys me. ...and to be fair, I know women get portrayed a certain way as well in other areas but I really can't relate to that aspect of things. So please, any woman who is annoyed by that, please post your question as you would be able to phrase it much better than I.

- It is because there are so many homos in the industry. It is part of their agenda.
- The men are actors. They don't always portray real life.
- I feel you on that one man. It also makes me mad because kids get their examples and even some ways to handle situations from t.v. when men on t.v. aren't a very good example to what men are really like. Peace man.
- I hate that! It kind of slowly crept into commercials and sitcoms over the past 10 or so years, but now it is blatant and humiliating. Even the ads for male enhancement (eg. Bob, with the huge, stupid, grin), that should be a bastion of male testosterone, have a female point of view. Where is Al Bundy, when we need him?
