How can I copy a tv show to a dvd online?

There are places online to download tv shows for free to watch on the computer. I don't like to watch on my computer-I would prefer to watch on my tv. I have a dvd burner on my computer, so is there a way for me to download the tv show and then copy it to a dvd so I can watch it on the tv? I have no idea how to do any of this kind of stuff. Is this even possible? Thanks!

1. For most of the streaming media, where there is no download option, such as NBC.com or ABC.com, it is impossible to save this. Most of the time, the streaming video is of such low quality that it's not worth trying to burn it to a DVD, as the resolution of your TV will just make the quality even worse. If you're that into watching TV programs on your TV, either watch them while they air, get a DVR or deal with watching them on your computer.
2. hi jj, dig this when you get you dvd that you plan to use and format it from your drivers in my computer right click on the driver and format it. then when you get to a movie that you want to copy it will say copy to disk it will give you a copy place send it to media player then record to disk and then you will copy it. but you need to download java by sun and adobe reader and adobe flash. good luck hope i was helpful to you

You can download most tv shows using torrents some are in HD format so the quality is not bad.After downloading the torrent you'll need to convert the file usually avi to a format DVD uses.I use dvd Santa..it takes a while but you should do a bunch at a time cause the dvd will hold a few hours of video..
