Would getting high definition on my television effect my Xbox 360?

Next week, I am getting high definition installed onto my television. I am just curious if it will also effect the definition of my Xbox 360 games and such. Thanks in advance.

1. It will make the picture and sound better. Wont hurt it. You mean you're getting a new HD TV right? You can get HD channels on a regular TV but without an HDTV they wont look any different. good luck!
