How do you get into a TV commercial?

Hi..Guys I'm Filipino here in the Philippines. I'm a guy anyway How do you get into a commercial? I have a friend who got 50k in just appearing. I never really took it seriously... Now I kinda noticed that people do say I can be a model.. But what the hell I'm just there for the money.. =D So how do I get in a commercial? Oh.. I won't tell my friend. I think I wanna surprise him=D I'm a guy=) Oh..he told several times that I should do it too.... But never took it seriously now I kinda do.. So I can get money=D

1. This is a FORUM about ELECTRONICS. A better forum would be under entertainment, media, etc. In any case. Commercials are like any other modeling job. There is a casting call (newspapers, website, special magazines for actors), you show up, you try out, and if they like you they hire you. I suggest you contact some local modeling agencies that can help you getting started.
