What is the difference between these two SONY camcorders recording media ?

I want to buy a SONY high definition hard disk drive camcorder. I am confused between these two model....SONY HDR-XR200V & SONY HDR-XR350V. What is the basic big difference in these two !! only the hard drive diff ? one has 120gb and the another i 160gb ? I am only confused about their recording media.. SONY HDR-200V = Hard Disk Drive 120GB Memory Stick PRO Duo SONY HDR-XR350V= Hard Disk Drive 160GB Video/Image SD/SDHC, Memory Stick wats dat mean ? does this create a huge difference ? PLZ ADVISE which cam I should buy among these two !!!!!

  1. The XR350V takes 7 MP stills as opposed to the 200V's 4 MP stills. The XR350V has 40 more GB of hard drive space, for more video. Those are the big differences. Besides that they're more or less the same.
  2. What you found are the main differences. The XR350V records still images at 7MP and the HDR-200V records them as 4MP. The HDR-200V is no longer manufactured and was replaced basically by the HDR-XR350V, which just came out not long ago. I use SD cards in all my cams and other gadgets so I'm partial to them :). Buying a new cam is always best unless you're on a budget and can get an older model at good price, even used too.
