What is the difference between these two SONY camcorders recording media ?
I want to buy a SONY high definition hard disk drive camcorder. I am confused between these two model....SONY HDR-XR200V & SONY HDR-XR350V. What is the basic big difference in these two !! only the hard drive diff ? one has 120gb and the another i 160gb ? I am only confused about their recording media.. SONY HDR-200V = Hard Disk Drive 120GB Memory Stick PRO Duo SONY HDR-XR350V= Hard Disk Drive 160GB Video/Image SD/SDHC, Memory Stick wats dat mean ? does this create a huge difference ? PLZ ADVISE which cam I should buy among these two !!!!!

- The XR350V takes 7 MP stills as opposed to the 200V's 4 MP stills. The XR350V has 40 more GB of hard drive space, for more video. Those are the big differences. Besides that they're more or less the same.
- What you found are the main differences. The XR350V records still images at 7MP and the HDR-200V records them as 4MP. The HDR-200V is no longer manufactured and was replaced basically by the HDR-XR350V, which just came out not long ago. I use SD cards in all my cams and other gadgets so I'm partial to them :). Buying a new cam is always best unless you're on a budget and can get an older model at good price, even used too.
