What is the best camcorder I could use for shooting high definition short movies?

I am looking for a camcorder so I can use it for personal use at the same time for shooting high definition movie quality shots.

1. Top of the shop Sony. I've used the DR100 (over the shoulder job) and the top end commercial model. Both are broadcast quality.
